Adopted Police Stations!!!!!!!!!!!

Police Men/Women has been the only professionals working in real odd times, they are the ones who care about the security of public. Whether it is a cyclone, storm or hot sun we can see police professional out there on the road to do their duty and safeguard us.

Hats off to their service to the society except for the few areas like corruption & other things hope they will rectify themselves soon. Since it is a hard profession their stress level is really high because of unscheduled work and their responsibility to respond to all the issues happening in the society.

To take care of these most respected professionals a unique intitiative has been taken by Tamil Nadu police, in which 39 police stations in Chennai will be adpoted by Doctors from both Government and private hospitals to take care of the police men/women and their families Health.

As a trial run this scheme will be implemented in these 39 police stations alone. Based on the outcome the scheme will be extended to other cities of the sate. As part of this scheme doctors will go and visit the police men/women in the respective police stations to create awareness about Health and the diagnosis will be done on various Health illness.

The idea of doctors visiting the police station is a nice move, which creates a close relationship between the police professionals and doctors.

After completing the service to the police people the same will be extended to their family members.

Awesome effort by Tamil Nadu polie department, Lets hope this will serve the needs of the police professionals.

TamilNadu AIDS initiative (TAI) and Voluntary Health Services (VHS) joined together for a nobel cause od creating employment for cross genders. The initiative seems to be unique because they are not talking about creating awareness and propagating the same old message of complaining about transgenders, rather this initiative aims at giving them an opportunity showing a path to lead their life in a most respectable way.

My Next Idea - What i did on this

Days/weeks/months passed by in my search for the new idea. One fine day still I am not sure how i got the spark, may be because of my bad experiences in our society.

Yes i got my new idea to create a online solution for the complete health care industry, when i shared with my close friends everyone appreciated on the idea, but i foresee a major problem to take the first step I am not a Health care professional nor a techie.

Does this stop me???

Some how my inner heart says proceed with the project, so before jumping into it i thought of doing a market research "learning experience from my earlier mistake" prepared a 10 point questionnaire posted in this blog and got filled by more than 100 users.

By the time I complete the survey i have shifted to another start up IT firm as a HR, because of hectic work schedule project work got struck. almost 6 months gone not able to do anything on the project except for my browsing.

Here comes the recession to slow slow down my work in office and opportunity for me to start the project again, in two months i was almost 100% idle in my office so diverted my concentration in the project, this time i want to analyze how health care professionals particularly doctors react to my idea.

To my surprise i got 100% clearance from both people and by doctors, this gave me more confidence then i discussed with 2 techies and thus gave birth to www.doctorsandmedicines.com awesome starting from no where was able to launch the website. So whats next?????

A new begning in Health care Industry

Thanks for all your support towards this blog, would expect the same kind of support towards my new site targeted on Health care industry.

Though we are in the nascent stage, the responses from doctors and professionals from various fields gave us more zeal towards the project. As a result, we are happy to officially launch our website today (9th October 2008) with features for doctors to get registered with us and get publicized to the mass across the globe.

Very soon, some other features like Public registration, Medical Articles, Online consultation and various other features will be available in the site.

Once again, I would like to thank you all for the support and suggestions. I would request all the professional doctors to get registered (free of cost) with us to expand further.

We’re currently in ‘private beta’ meaning we’re asking like minded people to register and test it out and give us feedback. And it also means the site is a bit rough and ready - we’re still polishing it up!

I would like to inform you that Im working on a noble idea to bring all medicine related information and services at one platform and make them available online to save time, anytime anywhere access with the help of emerging trends of IT.
